In addition to Space Tycoon, a metaverse-based game developed as part of Roblox’s world, Samsung has announced that it will launch the game. In the gaming metaverse, which will entertain Gen Z users, Samsung products will be constructed by picking their fundamental components. In addition, there will be a shop for buying items in-game.

A significant part of their strategy now includes creating metaverse-based worlds. The electronics company Samsung is creating a metaverse world as part of Roblox. A space station will launch a prototype for the experience – Space Tycoon, which allows users to participate in the design and production of Samsung products.

Shops are also available for items for the players’ avatars. Young audiences will benefit from this experience, as they will be able to learn about the brand and its products.

Jinsoo Kim, executive vice president of the Corporate Design Center at Samsung Electronics, said:

We wanted to give our Gen Z customers a chance to experience Samsung products in a way they have never done before. We will continue to showcase content that can deliver more meaningful and entertaining digital experiences for both our current and future customers.

Samsung has participated in several software experiences geared toward gaming and entertainment. A series of projects has been developed by the company with key partners in the area. Among these are NFTs launched through Nifty Gateway, a popular marketplace for NFT and will allow the platform to stream NFT data through Samsung smart TVs.

Additionally, the company has invested in groups whose primary focus is to develop metaverse-based platforms. Doubleme, a Korean metaverse company, took part in a Series A funding round in April. Decentraland, one of the most popular metaverses, is where the company launched its own store in January.
